The Oak Ridge Wildcats (Oak Ridge, TN) basketball nipped the host Alcoa Tornadoes (Alcoa, TN), 56-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Powell (Powell, TN). The Panthers go into the 4A District 3 test with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Powell got by Jefferson County (Dandridge, TN), 61-49, in a non-league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Seymour for a non-league test on Monday, December 5. Alcoa will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 56-35 non-league loss to Sevier County (Sevierville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
