The Clemens Buffaloes (Schertz, TX) basketball nipped the host Alexander Bulldogs (Laredo, TX), 61-54 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Buffaloes (7-1) will now prepare for their test against Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Nixon got by Mercedes (Mercedes, TX), 96-50, in a non-league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Jefferson for a non-league test on Friday, December 2. Alexander will encounter a Mustangs squad coming off a 69-61 non-league win over Mercedes (Mercedes, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-9.
