The Phillips Bears basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Brilliant Tigers to 33 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vina for a 1A Area 14 contest on Monday, December 5. Phillips will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 63-29 league loss to Belgreen (Russellville, AL). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-2.
