Griggsville-Perry Tornadoes (Griggsville, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Carrollton Hawks (Carrollton, IL), 49-22 in a league bout.

With the win, Griggsville-Perry upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Barry Western (Barry, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3.

Next up, the Hawks clash with the Gillespie Miners (Gillespie, IL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Carrollton will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Miners go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 49-41 non-league win over Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL).
