Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Countryside Christian Minutemen (Gainesville, FL), 56-15 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixie County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Branford (Branford, FL) to play the Buccaneers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a record of 1-1. Branford won 56-40 in their recent non-league bout against Lafayette (Mayo, FL)

Next up, the Minutemen confront the Cedar Key Sharks (Cedar Key, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Countryside Christian will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Sharks come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 57-42 non-league win over Ocala Christian (Ocala, FL).
