Nampa Christian Trojans (Nampa, ID) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Declo Hornets (Declo, ID), 61-54 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Nampa Christian upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trojans host American Falls (American Falls, ID) to play the Beavers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Beavers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Hornets play the Gooding Senators (Gooding, ID) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Declo will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
