The Flomaton Hurricanes basketball team scored 63 points and restricted the visiting Excel Panthers to 58 in the Hurricanes non-league victory on Thursday.

The Hurricanes now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escambia County for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Flomaton will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 60-47 non-league win over Monroe County (Monroeville, AL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-1.

The Panthers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Leroy (Leroy, AL). The Bears come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
