Highland Park Hornets (Amarillo, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX), 74-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Highland Park upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Hornets travel to Sunray (Sunray, TX) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Sunray won 61-34 in their recent non-league bout against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX)

Next up, the Cougars play the Hartley Tigers (Hartley, TX) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Pringle-Morse will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 64-42 non-league loss to San Jacinto Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX).
