The Kingsley-Pierson Panthers (Kingsley, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Lawton-Bronson Eagles (Lawton, IA), 54-45 in Thursday's league test.
The Panthers (2-0) will now prepare for their test against Westwood (Sloan, IA). The Rebels go into the Western Valley - North test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Westwood went down by Hinton (Hinton, IA), 68-53, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now sport a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ridge View for a Western Valley - North contest on Friday, December 2. Lawton-Bronson will battle a Raptors team coming off a 57-51 non-league loss to Alta-Aurelia (Alta, IA). The Raptors record now stands at 0-1.
