The Lanier Christian Academy Lightning basketball team scored 73 points and held the host Sugar Hill Christian Academy Stallions to 42 in the Lightning non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lightning now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Covington Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 6.

The Stallions (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Dawson Christian Academy (Dawsonville, GA). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Dawson Christian Academy triumphed over Friendship Christian (Suwanee, GA), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
