The Overton Wolverines basketball team scored 80 points and held the host Wooddale Cardinals to 56 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Wolverines now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cane Ridge for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Overton will meet a Ravens team coming off a 61-58 non-league loss to Hillwood (Nashville, TN). The Ravens record now stands at 0-4.

The Cardinals (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering (Memphis, TN). The Phoenix enter the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Memphis Academy of Science and Engineering triumphed over Memphis School of Excellence (Memphis, TN), 86-13, in a non-league contest.
