Sanford-Fritch Eagles (Fritch, TX) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Wheeler Mustangs (Wheeler, TX), 56-43 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Sanford-Fritch upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to West Texas (Stinnett, TX) to play the Comanches in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Comanches come into the bout with a record of 2-1. West Texas won 60-20 in their recent non-league bout against Pringle-Morse (Morse, TX)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Pringle-Morse Cougars (Morse, TX) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 2. Wheeler will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Hartley (Hartley, TX).
