The Altoona Railroaders basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Osceola Chieftains to 49 in the Railroaders league triumph on Thursday.

The Railroaders now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elk Mound for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 3. Altoona will battle a Mounders team coming off a 83-21 league win over Glenwood City (Glenwood City, WI). The Mounders record now stands at 5-0.

The Chieftains (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Unity (Balsam Lake, WI). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Unity was nudged by Prairie Farm (Prairie Farm, WI), 56-42, in a non-league contest.
