Florida High School Basketball - Branford nipped by Lafayette

The Lafayette Hornets tipped the visiting Branford Buccaneers basketball team by a tally of 52-47 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Hornets now possess a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jefferson County for a non-league battle on Friday, December 2. Lafayette will battle a Tigers team coming off a 27-23 non-league loss to St. John Paul II (Tallahassee, FL). The Tigers record now stands at 0-6.

The Buccaneers (1-3) will now prepare for their battle against Dixie County (Cross City, FL). The Bears come into the non-league battle with a 3-2 record. In their last battle, Dixie County was nudged by Countryside Christian (Gainesville, FL), 46-43, in a non-league battle.
