West Virginia High School Basketball - Weir can't hold off Brooke

The Brooke Bruins basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Weir Red Riders to 41 in the Bruins non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bruins now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oak Glen for a non-league contest on Thursday, December 8. Brooke will battle a Golden Bears team coming off a 64-54 non-league loss to John Marshall (Glen Dale, WV). The Golden Bears record now stands at 0-2.
The Red Riders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bellaire (Bellaire, OH). The Big Reds come into the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Bellaire was nudged by Linsly (Wheeling, WV), 49-40, in a non-league contest.
