Cedarville Trojans (Cedarville, MI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Pickford Panthers (Pickford, MI), 52-50 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cedarville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Frankfort (Frankfort, MI) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Panthers play the Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Pickford will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
