In Thursday's non-league outing, the Crooms Academy Panthers (Sanford, FL) basketball squad beat the visiting Halifax Academy Knights (Daytona Beach, FL), by a count of 35-23.
The Panthers (2-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lake Mary Prep (Lake Mary, FL). The Griffins go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Lake Mary Prep was topped by Trinity Christian Academy (Deltona, FL), 33-32, in a league outing.
