The East Moline United Panthers basketball team scored 42 points and restricted the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors to 22 in the Panthers league victory on Thursday.

The Panthers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Galesburg for a Western Big 6 contest on Saturday, December 3. East Moline United will battle a Silver Streaks team coming off a 52-37 league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL). The Silver Streaks record now stands at 7-1.

The Golden Warriors (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Blue Devils come into the Western Big 6 contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Quincy prevailed over Alleman (Rock Island, IL), 37-34, in a league contest.
