Eden Valley-Watkins Eagles (Eden Valley, MN) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Foley Falcons (Foley, MN), 52-42 in a league bout.

With the win, Eden Valley-Watkins upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles host Holdingford (Holdingford, MN) to play the Huskers in a AA Section 6 bout on Saturday, January 7. The Huskers go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Falcons play the St. Francis Fighting Saints (St. Francis, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
