The Fairfax Lions basketball team scored 34 points and held the visiting Thomas Jefferson Science & Technology Colonials to 30 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Falls Church for a non-league contest on Monday, December 5. Fairfax will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 61-25 non-league win over Gar-Field (Woodbridge, VA). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-0.

The Colonials (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Washington-Liberty (Arlington, VA). The Generals enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Washington-Liberty nudged Chantilly (Chantilly, VA), 47-39, in a non-league contest.
