Illinois High School Basketball - Webber can't hold off Farina South Central

The Farina South Central Cougars basketball team scored 54 points and held the visiting Webber Trojans to 52 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Cougars now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Neoga for a National Trail contest on Monday, December 5. Farina South Central will battle a Indians team coming off a 61-27 league win over North Clay/Clay City (Louisville, IL). The Indians record now stands at 7-0.
The Trojans (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Brownstown (Brownstown, IL). The Bombers enter the non-league contest with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Brownstown nudged Farina South Central (Farina, IL), 46-31, in a league contest.
