Valwood Valiants (Valdosta, GA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Highland Christian Academy EAGLES (Valdosta, GA), 43-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Valwood upgrades its record to 1-2 on the season. The Valiants travel to Echols County (Statenville, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Echols County lost 37-28 in their recent non-league bout against Georgia Christian (Valdosta, GA)

Next up, the EAGLES play the Hamilton County Trojans (Jasper, FL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Highland Christian Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Trojans go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 68-35 non-league loss to Newberry (Newberry, FL).
