Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Highland upgrades its record to 7-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Glenwood (Chatham, IL) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 3. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 2-3. Glenwood lost 34-20 in their recent league bout against Rochester (Rochester, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Columbia Eagles (Columbia, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 3. Mascoutah will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 74-24 league win over East Alton-Wood River (Wood River, IL).
