The Ontario Warriors (Mansfield, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Highland Fighting Scots (Marengo, OH), 46-39 in Thursday's league test.

The Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their test against River Valley (Caledonia, OH). The Vikings go into the Mid-Ohio test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, River Valley got by Clear Fork (Bellville, OH), 42-34, in a league test.

The Fighting Scots now own a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Pleasant for a Mid-Ohio test on Saturday, December 3. Highland will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 38-32 league loss to Shelby (Shelby, OH). The Spartans record now stands at 0-2.
