Florida High School Basketball - St. John Paul II holds off Jefferson County

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the St. John Paul II Panthers (Tallahassee, FL) and the host Jefferson County Tigers (Monticello, FL), saw St. John Paul II's basketball squad hold off Jefferson County by a tally of 27-23.

With the victory, St. John Paul II improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Panthers host Altha (Altha, FL) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 5. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Altha lost 41-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Liberty County (Bristol, FL)

Next up, the Tigers confront the Lafayette Hornets (Mayo, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 2. Jefferson County will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 52-47 non-league win over Branford (Branford, FL).
