The Little Cypress-Mauriceville Bears basketball team scored 51 points and held the host Kirbyville Wildcats to 29 in the Bears non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Bears now sport a 11-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bridge City for a non-league contest on Friday, December 2. Little Cypress-Mauriceville will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 40-30 non-league win over Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Cardinals record now stands at 4-2.

The Wildcats (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Legacy Christian Academy (Beaumont, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Legacy Christian Academy was routed by Bridge City (Bridge City, TX), 40-30, in a non-league contest.
