The Riverside Pirates (De Graff, OH) basketball nipped the host Northridge Polar Bears (Dayton, OH), 32-29 in Thursday's league test.

The Pirates (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Troy Christian (Troy, OH). The Eagles go into the Three Rivers test with a 0-2 record. In their last test, Troy Christian was tipped by Milton-Union (West Milton, OH), 50-30, in a league test.

The Polar Bears now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Covington for a Three Rivers test on Saturday, December 3. Northridge will encounter a Buccs squad coming off a 62-42 league loss to Bethel (Tipp City, OH). The Buccs record now stands at 3-2.
