Paideia Academy Knights (Knoxville, TN) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Tennessee School for the Deaf Vikings (Knoxville, TN), 30-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Paideia Academy upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Clayton-Bradley Academy (Maryville, TN) to play the Blazers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Blazers come into the bout with a record of 0-4. Next up, the Vikings play the Knoxville Christian Knights (Knoxville, TN) in a Division II-A East District 1 bout, on Tuesday, December 6. Tennessee School for the Deaf will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
