Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Churchill County Greenwave (Fallon, NV), 25-23 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Galena upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, December 2. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 0-1. Spring Creek lost 42-20 in their recent non-league bout against McQueen (Reno, NV)

Next up, the Greenwave play the Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 7. Churchill County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
