Pelham Panthers (Pelham, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Calera Eagles (Calera, AL), 49-33 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Pelham upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Panthers host Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 6. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 0-2.

Next up, the Eagles play the Montevallo Bulldogs (Montevallo, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 5. Calera will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
