North Carolina High School Basketball - Lawrence Academy winner over Pungo Christian Academy

In Thursday's non-league outing, the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) basketball squad felled the visiting Pungo Christian Academy Raiders (Belhaven, NC), by a margin of 33-17.

The Warriors (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA). The Raiders go into the non-league outing with a 1-0 record. In their last outing, Southampton Academy thwarted Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot (Powhatan, VA), 28-13, in a non-league outing.

The Raiders now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Faith Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 6. Pungo Christian Academy will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 53-22 non-league win over Harrells Christian Academy (Harrells, NC). The Patriots record now stands at 3-0.
