Lake Park Lancers (Roselle, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Batavia Bulldogs (Batavia, IL), 37-23 in a league bout.

With the win, Lake Park upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Lancers host South Elgin (South Elgin, IL) to play the Storm in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Storm go into the bout with a record of 2-3. South Elgin won 58-54 in their recent league bout against Glenbard South (Glen Ellyn, IL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Huntley Red Raiders (Huntley, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Batavia will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a 6-0 record after their 52-42 league win over Hampshire (Hampshire, IL).
