The Beacon Academy Trailblazers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Wolcott College Prep Wolves to 36 in the Trailblazers league triumph on Friday.

The Trailblazers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Waldorf for a Lakeshore contest on Monday, December 4. Beacon Academy will battle a Thunder team coming off a 36-33 league win over British International School of Chicago (Chicago, IL). The Thunder record now stands at 1-1.

The Wolves (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Cruz (Chicago, IL). The Dragons enter the Lakeshore contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Cruz ran past ACERO Garcia (Chicago, IL), 40-11, in a non-league contest.
