Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Bethany Wolves (Summerfield, NC), 74-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Carver upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Bishop McGuinness (Kernersville, NC) to clash with the Villains in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout on Tuesday, December 5. The Villains go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Bishop McGuinness won 72-66 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Day School (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Wolves clash with the Cornerstone Charter Cardinals (Greensboro, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Bethany will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 1-4 record after their 87-48 league loss to Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC).
