Illinois High School Basketball - Carmi-White County can't hold off Herrin

The Herrin Tigers basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Carmi-White County Bulldogs to 55 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Murphysboro for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 2. Herrin will battle a Red Devils team coming off a 67-40 non-league win over Cairo (Cairo, IL). The Red Devils record now stands at 3-0.
The Bulldogs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Chester (Chester, IL). The Yellowjackets enter the non-league contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Chester nudged Cairo (Cairo, IL), 68-53, in a non-league contest.
