The Cloudland Highlanders basketball team (Roan Mountain, TN), was overwhelmed 76-44 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Happy Valley Warriors (Elizabethton, TN)

The Warriors now possess a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Greene for a 2A District 1 battle on Tuesday, December 5.

The Highlanders (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Mitchell trounced North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC), 86-79, in a non-league battle.
