Tharptown Wildcats (Russellville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Colbert Heights Wildcats (Tuscumbia, AL), 57-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Tharptown upgrades its record to 2-2 on the season. The Wildcats host Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Lindsay Lane Christian Academy lost 44-29 in their recent league bout against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering (Huntsville, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Covenant Christian Eagles (Tuscumbia, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Colbert Heights will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-4 record after their 53-15 league win over Waterloo (Waterloo, AL).
