Massachusetts High School Basketball - Commonwealth overwhelmed by Covenant Christian Academy

The Covenant Christian Academy Cougars basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Commonwealth Mermaids to 26 in the Cougars league victory on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Landmark for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4.
The Mermaids (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Marie Philip (Framingham, MA). The Galloping Ghosts come into the Massachusetts Bay 2 contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Marie Philip triumphed over Lexington School for the Deaf (Jackson Heights, NY), 49-28, in a non-league contest.
