The Crocker Lions basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Laquey Hornets to 48 in the Lions league triumph on Friday.
The Lions now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Elizabeth for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Crocker will battle a Hornets team coming off a 82-77 non-league win over Osage (Kaiser, MO). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
The Hornets (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hermitage (Hermitage, MO). The Hornets enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last contest, Hermitage was routed by Vienna (Vienna, MO), 70-56, in a non-league contest.
