The Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) basketball crushed the visiting Dorchester Longhorns (Dorchester, NE), 45-22 in Friday's league test.

The Mustangs (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE). The Knights enter the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.

The Longhorns (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against High Plains (Polk, NE). The Storm enter the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, High Plains triumphed over Fullerton (Fullerton, NE), 46-43, in a non-league contest.
