The Downers Grove South Mustangs basketball team scored 81 points and held the visiting Hinsdale South Hornets to 56 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Juarez for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Downers Grove South will battle a Eagles team coming off a 58-39 non-league win over Back of the Yards College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Eagles record now stands at 1-1.

The Hornets (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Nazareth Academy was routed by Saint Viator (Arlington Heights, IL), 46-33, in a league contest.
