Edwards County Lions (Albion, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Wayne City Indians (Wayne City, IL), 62-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Edwards County upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Norris City-Omaha-Enfield (Norris City, IL) to play the Fighting Cardinals in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Fighting Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-4. Norris City-Omaha-Enfield lost 49-39 in their recent non-league bout against Gallatin County (Junction, IL)

Next up, the Indians play the Hamilton County Foxes (McLeansboro, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 2. Wayne City will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
