North Carolina High School Basketball - Elkin thwarts Forbush

The Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) basketball knocked off the host Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 53-40 in Friday's non-league test.

The Buckin' Elks (3-2) will now prepare for their test against West Iredell (Statesville, NC). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-2 record.

The Falcons now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Lexington for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 5. Forbush will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 55-46 non-league loss to Davie (Mocksville, NC). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 0-4.
