    The Fairport Red Raiders (Fairport, NY) basketball nipped the host Rush-Henrietta Royal Comets (Henrietta, NY), 56-49 in Friday's league test.

    The Red Raiders (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Webster Schroeder (Webster, NY). The Warriors go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Webster Schroeder was tipped by Williamsville South (Williamsville, NY), 66-50, in a non-league test.

    The Royal Comets now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Brighton for a non-league test on Wednesday, December 6. Rush-Henrietta will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 70-60 non-league win over Eastridge (Rochester, NY). The Bruins record now stands at 1-0.
