Tennessee High School Basketball - Hixson can't hold off Ooltewah

The Ooltewah Owls basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Hixson Wildcats to 37 in the Owls non-league triumph on Friday.
The Owls now sport a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dalton Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 5. Ooltewah will battle a Pumas team coming off a 72-57 non-league loss to Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA). The Pumas record now stands at 1-5.
The Wildcats (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Soddy Daisy (Soddy Daisy, TN). The Trojans enter the 3A District 6 contest with a 0-4 record. In their last contest, Soddy Daisy was nudged by Signal Mountain (Signal Mountain, TN), 51-50, in a league contest.
