The New West Charter Eagles basketball team scored 79 points and held the host Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers to 58 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Triumph Charter for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. New West Charter will meet a Jaguars team coming off a 71-15 non-league win over Valley Oaks CES (Sun Valley, CA). The Jaguars record now stands at 6-1.

The Panthers (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Middle College (Los Angeles, CA). The Cougars enter the Crosstown contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Middle College triumphed over Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA), 59-27, in a league contest.
