Virginia High School Basketball - John Battle tipped by Marion

The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes basketball team scored 62 points and held the host John Battle Trojans to 55 in the Scarlet Hurricanes non-league triumph on Friday.
The Scarlet Hurricanes now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rural Retreat for a non-league contest on Monday, December 4. Marion will meet a Indians team coming off a 49-37 league win over Northwood (Saltville, VA). The Indians record now stands at 2-1.
The Trojans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Patrick Henry (Glade Spring, VA). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Patrick Henry was nudged by Virginia High (Bristol, VA), 71-53, in a non-league contest.
