Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead tipped by Johnson County Central

The Johnson County Central Thunderbirds basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Mead Raiders to 52 in the Thunderbirds non-league triumph on Friday.
The Thunderbirds now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri County for a C2 District 1 contest on Saturday, December 2. Johnson County Central will meet a Trojans team coming off a 44-35 non-league win over Wilber-Clatonia (Wilber, NE). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
The Raiders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cornerstone Christian School (Bellevue, NE). The Cougars enter the C2 District 3 contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Cornerstone Christian School was nudged by Brownell Talbot (Omaha, NE), 44-35, in a league contest.
