Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield East edges Joliet Central

The Plainfield East Bengals (Plainfield, IL) basketball nipped the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), 50-48 in Friday's league test.

The Bengals (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Cougars go into the SouthWest Prairie test with a 2-5 record. In their last test, Plainfield South was tipped by Joliet West (Joliet, IL), 63-35, in a league test.

The Steelmen now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they host Plainfield Central for a SouthWest Prairie test on Tuesday, December 5. Joliet Central will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 67-46 league loss to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-6.
