Karnes City Badgers (Karnes City, TX) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kenedy Lions (Kenedy, TX), 39-25 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Karnes City upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Badgers travel to Randolph (Universal City, TX) to play the Ro-Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 2. The Ro-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Randolph lost 55-44 in their recent non-league bout against La Vernia (La Vernia, TX)

Next up, the Lions play the Waelder Wildcats (Waelder, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 5. Kenedy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 53-40 non-league loss to Calvert (Calvert, TX).
